Mr. Strauss brings more than 25 years of experience in operations and principal investing to the firm. Caymus Equity Partners, an affiliate of Caymus Partners, invests in profitable middle and lower-middle market companies in attractive niches with strong growth potential. Caymus Equity Partners focuses on companies that will benefit from our unique combination of financial and operational experience within the business services, consumer, healthcare, and media / communications industries.

Mr. Strauss' brings valuable, relevant expertise to Caymus Equity Partners in the restaurant, marketing services and media industries from his former roles as founder and CEO of Trenmark Corporation and CEO of SMC Corporation. Mr. Strauss led both companies in two separate exclusive sale transactions to publicly traded companies.

Prior to joining Caymus Equity Partners, Mr. Strauss served as the CEO of Zada Equities, a private equity fund, where he has made numerous investments in the restaurant industry and took an active role in both quick serve and casual dining. Between 1993 and 1999, Zada Equities acquired and built 174 restaurants within Burger King system, becoming one of the four largest franchisees.
